About us:
Hello, I am Bill Vaughan founder and owner of Clear the Air, Earth Care Products. Over 14 years ago I was working in corporate America as an engineer/marketing executive when the trend of corporate downsizing was in full swing. Three times I had a comfortable job making good money for a good company. Three times those companies were bought out or merged, making my job and many others either redundant or unnecessary. But I hold no grudges; instead I took my lesson to the streets and went into business for myself.
A friend of mine told me about a small company that had a "miracle" product for removing odors. I was so impressed with the way the product removed odors I decided to buy into the company. 14 years ago Earth Care Products was born which manufactures and sells odor removal products through pet stores (Petco) and pest control distributors.
Our products don't act as other "air fresheners" which are designed to replace an offensive smell with a pleasant one. Earth Care granules are processed to have a negative charge; most odor molecules are positively charged. In proximity, the odor remover acts like a magnet to the odor molecules, drawing them into the granules' pores and trapping them. The effect is the air is cleansed, not masked. A big difference between our products and others on the market is that ours does not have to come into contact with dead animal or urine or whatever is causing the odor. If a dead rodent is in your wall you can just hang the bag in the rooms where you smell the odor and it will "clear the air" of all odors. If urine is in your carpet, pad, and the wood or concrete under the pad just sprinkle Earth Care on the carpet, leave on over night, and vacuum up. Earth Care will pull the odor out of the carpet, pad, and flooring underneath.
