Ruth, aka Elsa, was adopted by a sweet family and they think the world of her:<\/h2>\n<p><strong>&#8220;&#8230;the sweetest dog in the world. We love her so much.&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.sdhumane.org\/images\/content\/pagebuilder\/Ruth2.jpg\" border=\"0\" alt=\"Ruth - aka Elsa\" width=\"200\" height=\"200\" align=\"right\" \/>Dear Humane Society,<\/em><\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;d  like to update you on the\u00a0wonderful dog we adopted from you\u00a0on Gaines  St. on Nov. 24th\u00a02012.\u00a0 She was named Elsa\u00a0while in your excellent care  &amp; is\u00a0a pit bull mix &amp; the sweetest dog in the world.\u00a0 We love  her so much.<\/p>\n<p>I sent\u00a0a few pictures shortly after we adopted her &amp; here are a few more. We renamed her Ruth after Ruth 1:16 in the <img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.sdhumane.org\/images\/content\/pagebuilder\/Ruth5.jpg\" border=\"0\" alt=\"Ruth - aka Elsa\" width=\"200\" height=\"300\" align=\"right\" \/>Bible  where Ruth is speaking to her mother-in-law, Naomi.\u00a0 &#8220;Don&#8217;t make me  leave you, for I want to go wherever you go, &amp; to live wherever you  live; your people will be my people, &amp; your God shall be my God.&#8221;\u00a0  That scripture seemed to fit so Ruth or Ruthie she is &amp; we\u00a0are her  people!<\/p>\n<p>Thank\u00a0you to all the\u00a0folks at your place\u00a0for caring for her so lovingly until we came along.\u00a0 God bless you all.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Shari &amp; Richard H.<br \/>\n<\/strong><span style=\"font-size: 90%;\">June 2013<\/span><strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We love hearing success stories!
